That's a massive blow. They've decided they want a buy back option perhaps? This one might not be dead just yet. We've surely already agreed terms with the player so it's just some compromise between the club's that's required.
Sounds like Hecke was wanted by a lot of teams so sounds like its more to do with Brighton see him as a viable option for them this season - wont of had anything to do with Neil leaving us
Van hecke will 100% be getting loaned out still. It’s a huge game of chess. They just want clubs to pay more for the privilege so are pretending he might stay
Remember I said earlier they inserted a buy back in Xavi Simons transfer for peanuts and we’d done well to negotiate a sell on clause…..

No. He was watching our game at the weekend, that's not gamesmanship. It's been known he was available. Celtic bid and Sevilla were interested but they didn't want to pay the price. It's not as if PSG are desperate to squeeze that extra half a million out of us. It's far more likely that they want a buy back clause.
