I think he’ll slot in alongside Evans in the middle. Stoke can’t spend any money this season so these rumours of Pritchard and Stewart following him are bollocks. He’s worked with Neil but wasn’t signed by AN at Sunderland, none of our players were so I’m not sure where this whole allegiance to him thing is coming from although that’s just my own opinion there’s probably people out there who know the crack and can confirm, instead of listening to what’s said in daft WhatsApp messages claiming all sorts.
That's a good move for the lad. Players develop better when they're playing games. This is a step up for him from the last couple of years and a chance to prove himself at that level. It's good for his career, even if he never quite makes it here. Interestingly, the only game he ever looked like a world beater for us was against Lincoln, so maybe it's still burned into their memory.
Really weird that, got news on both of them joining within 5 minutes of eachother on friday and then news about them not joining at the same time on monday, strange
the club leaked them on Friday to deflect from Neil - I’m sure of that. And I reckon they’ve probably fallen through for the same reason. Whether we like it or not, clubs and players aren’t going to want to loan to or join a club that appears in disarray without a manager
The Michut one reads as if PSG have added a separate clause in, maybe more wage cover from us or a higher agreed/obligated fee. Poor from PSG if Romano is correct.
Even though PSG wanted to add a clause to the deal. With the other it was more that they see him featuring in their first team. Both nothing to do with us having no manager
They’re the reasons given. They might have added a clause as they know we are desperate for good news so thought we’d pay it. Brighton may have been about to loan him to us but then decided not to when the Neil news broke, so now think he’d be better off being a bit part player here rather than come here under an unknown manager
