But they were in this position last window, window closing trying to sort out a manager and get deals done.
The manager took weeks and it nearly ****ed our season!
Not this season but once we start aiming at promotion, it would be money well spent if it went a fair way to getting us there.
Obviously despite Dumb and Dumber having had their grip on the club weakened ( they were strapped for cash) and a billionaire taking over. We are still trying to run the place on a shoestring.
I would contend until we have a playing squad of sufficient quality and quantity we cannot run a break even policy.
Whether this 500k is a good investment, I cannot say, as I do not really know how good this player is, how desperately we need him and what options to buy at the end of the loan we have.
I don't like loan fees but if the player is worth 5 plus million to get him for one year for 500k isn't bad!
How does running the club on a shoestring lead to bringing in Dan Ballard, Dajaku and Jack Clarke, not to mention Patrick Roberts' wages and signing on fee? Plus reportedly nigh on £1m on Bernette and a clause in Michut's loan agreement apparently worth 5 million euros?

We have done nothing in terms of transfers, signed Ballard from Arsenal and Jack Clarke who was here last season anyway and that's it. And it's disrespectful to AN. According to Stelling the ****ing twat! Not sure what else anyone said as I stopped the video there!
