Not this season but once we start aiming at promotion, it would be money well spent if it went a fair way to getting us there.
Obviously despite Dumb and Dumber having had their grip on the club weakened ( they were strapped for cash) and a billionaire taking over. We are still trying to run the place on a shoestring. I would contend until we have a playing squad of sufficient quality and quantity we cannot run a break even policy. Whether this 500k is a good investment, I cannot say, as I do not really know how good this player is, how desperately we need him and what options to buy at the end of the loan we have.
I don't like loan fees but if the player is worth 5 plus million to get him for one year for 500k isn't bad!
