i get the impression AN loves it here, he is building something nice and steady alongside the club owners, there appears to be a good bond between owners, manager and playing staff, he will have had a big say in any targets for the window, the club is finally moving in the right direction...these are all fairly obvious points that would suggest AN would be happy to stay and keep growing with the club.
i also got the impression in recent interviews that AN was far from happy with the transfer situation, whether that was down to not going for the players he wanted, not wanting to pay over the odds for a player or the apparent slow movement in the market when he wanted players in 3 weeks ago...i think with the right guarantess he would not want to leave.
stoke are not looking like a club that is going places right now, they are on the decline and possibly teetering on the verge of FFP rules, fighting to get costs down you would have to wonder how sacking and hiring managers would be a good move for them, far too late in the window for any new manager to change the playing staff to any degree so if the move does happen imho it has to be purely down to money and if that is the case they are welcome to him.
