Keane was odds on but let’s not forget he did hold talks with the club and it was almost a done deal..

Let’s also not forget that bookies are in the game to make money. Shortening/lengthening odds so people throw money on is an everyday thing. I don’t think he’ll leave us, I can’t see why he would when everything’s going good at the minute and we’re bringing in some good players. But if he does to we move on, he’s not the only decent manager out there and there’ll be a queue of managers lining up at our door.

I just can’t see Neil to Stoke happening. It would be the oddest of moves to go to a smaller club.

Let’s be honest here, he was no one’s first choice, he’s done a good job and would be leaving us in a far better position than he found us, achieved his objectives and good luck to him if he decides he’s got better opportunities at stoke. We would move on, and let’s hope not take an age to get his replacement, but being frank it’s not the end of the world if he went.
Not gonna lie this screams "she wasn't even that good looking anyway" after being dumped by an ex

first line in article not looking good

Alex Neil, Sunderland’s head coach, is currently taking training at the club’s Academy of Light — but expectation is growing on Wearside that he is likely to depart to fill the vacancy at Stoke City.

If he leaves it’s a blow, but we move on.

If he’d rather go to Stoke then it says more about him than us.

Why the **** would we just lie down and let him leave? We’ve had a great start but ****ing hell this club loves kicking us in the balls.

It's incredible that one decision from Neil can totally sway my opinion of him.

If he stays, I'll continue to worship the bloke like a god.

If he leaves, he is absolutely dead to me and I hope he career goes down the ****ter.

Have we ever had a manager leave to go to another club?

Cant remember it ever happening we normally get there first and show them the door dont we?

I've mentioned this at the start of the season...Having AN on a one year rolling contract leaves us exposed to clubs high in the Championship or lower end Premier League....Just didn't think Stoke would be a option. AN's Stock is high, best manager we've had in years, make a statement SAFC...give hime a decent contract

Can’t get my head around why the hell he would want to move Can only be financial. Christ at least Alardyce went to England Hopefully it’s bollox but starting to get very worried
