One thing that has struck me is how little the north east reporters get in terms of transfers, don’t remember the last time one of them had an exclusive on us

I’m much less excited by Michut than I am by van Hecke - but both of them are great news.
Michut has had attitude problems historically but the very fact he’s willing to come to us on loan is indication that he wants to play football. Which is a very good sign.
He definitely seems more like he’d be suited to permanent. Hopefully there are clauses to make it permanent built in like Dajaku?

in an ideal world it would be an OPTION for us to buy but doubt PSG sign up to that.
I can imagine a scenario tho where if he makes 30 appearances and we get into playoffs or promoted then we are forced to sign him for £Xm tho
can have as many as we want but only 5 in the squad.

Yeah Simms is the only loan from memory so I’m fine with these being a loan, hope there’s an option to buy with michut
I'm sure I read any overseas loan deal must have an option to buy. Hope he turns out great and we nab ourselves a bargin
