Broadheads mam now follows wigan and their chairman, guess he has gone there

I suspected the moment Simms popped up on our radar, Broadhead wasnt coming. I wonder if Simms became our no. 1 target or was he an alternative to Broadhead when we knew he wasnt coming? Maybe we were fed up of being pissed about and went for Simms instead?

If it was a straight choice between Broadhead or Simms, I'd take Simms every time. I wanted Simms last season but he was injured at the beginning of the season.

I like Broadhead but if Wigan sign him I'm sure we'll have other irons in the fire. Wigan fans will gloat at the "steal" but with or without him there's no way Wigan are finishing above us this season.
Did we not give give Broadhead a deadline which has long since passed

Glad it's finally over tbh (if it turns out to be the case). We've spent long enough talking to him, it was all getting a bit Borini-esqe.

Spot on..

Many many years ago, if I fancied a girl I would, pine for ages and give myself chances to ask her out. If we did go out together, it was never as good as I hoped and I felt quite deflated and asking myself why did I bother....
