Gooch could have a shot as a front man alongside Stewart or Simms, if we can't land Broadhead that is, atm I see both Gooch and O/9 as utility players only . We need better tbh.

I'd be devastated if Broadhead goes to Wigan and not us, think this lad could really be a stand out signing alongside or with either of our big lads up front.
He wasn't too shabby alongside LND last season.

I like Broadhead but if Wigan sign him I'm sure we'll have other irons in the fire. Wigan fans will gloat at the "steal" but with or without him there's no way Wigan are finishing above us this season.

Don’t know a lot about him but he drops deep and runs with the ball so is different. A Sheff Utd supporting lad I know (DJ Luke Una - his Instagram is brilliant) used to say he’s exciting but frustrating.

I think it’s someone like 09 energy wise but with better distribution and more composure that we need.

Mousett is an interesting one. Great player on his day but he’s even more injury prone than Broadhead.

I agree with that but we also have two other defenders in Wright and Alese on the bench?

I’d like a right sided centre half who could also play right back (think tomiyasu style) as Gooch gets bullied when we drop into a back 4.

Plus worry about cover for Ballard, wouldn’t want Batth or Bailey playing in one of the wider CB positions just do t have the pace required. They are fine if all they need to do is stand and defend
