I’m really not fussed about Broadhead. Constantly injuredBe interested to see if this affects the Broadhead deal. Other than an out and out no.9, we seem to have a lot of options in attack.

What could go wrong with someone at Sunderland named Ellis?Popping up all over about Simms now.
Believe this maintains my 100% record (admittedly there’d been heavy talk ha)
I think he’s not dissimilar to the signings of Clarke, Roberts and Pritchard. Has a high potential ceiling but hasn’t been close to it for a while. He was very highly rated when he broke through and had premier league interest. A punt but he obviously has the raw material to be a very good keeper.3 year deal??
I'm not going to lose sleep over a back up keeper that cost very little, but this one doesn't make any sense to me. He's 24 and had the choice of Exeter or Crawley before we threw our hat in the ring. Portsmouth brought a 20 year old on loan from the Championship rather than make him first choice in League one.
I think he's here purely to sit on our bench so that we could loan Carney out, but 3 years seems excessive for that. Maybe we were really struggling to find an alternative keeper.

Jan Koller has the couchNeymar at Seaham Hall, rooming with Robbie Keane I think.![]()
Said just that to my Dad. If he stays fit, he’ll be a top forward in the championship. If he’s asking for 39k per week or anything stupid like that, for someone who is, from our experience, fit for 4 injured for 8, what’s the point! (Probably being generous with the 4 too!!)I’m really not fussed about Broadhead. Constantly injured

Was he constantly injured, I keep reading it? I know he had that one hamstring injury picked up against Arsenal and then struggled to come back from it but don’t particularly remember others.I’m really not fussed about Broadhead. Constantly injured
That was his secon injury, he had already been out and hadn't long been back when he got injured at arsenal, not sure what his injury record was like before he came, he played a lot of u23 games the season before and about 20 the season before that I thinkWas he constantly injured, I keep reading it? Ah right, cheers mate. I remember him playing a load before that Arsenal game for a month or so, maybe just over did it. I’ll be pleased if he signs, I don’t think I’ll write him off as a crock but clearly got to be handled carefully. That was his secon injury, he had already been out and hadn't long been back when he got injured at arsenal, not sure what his injury record was like before he came, he played a lot of u23 games the season before and about 20 the season before that I think
Watmore was a crock here and is playing regularly now, have to hope if he does come in our physios etc can get to the bottom of his issues and manage him properlyAh right, cheers mate. What I heard but not sure how true it isbut they are excessive mate, to much of a risk i think they have decided that already.
I think hamstrings are something that can be managed if he is looked after by the right peopleAh right, cheers mate. That's exactly what I posted 2 weeks ago mate yes it's trueWhat I heard but not sure how true it is
Broadhead wants to come
We want him to come
Everton want him off their books.
However he wants similar money to what is is getting which is a lot more than what our wage structure would allow , which if we paid it the the likes of Stewart would be wanting the same on a new deal and the club don't want to go down the route of paying over the top of the structure that is in place.
As I said I'm not sure how true this is but it was mentioned that because if he stays at Everton he will not get game time but they will have to pay him anyway, so we were trying to broker a deal where we offer him want we want to pay him and get Everton to pay up some of his contract as they will have to pay it if he stays.
Then on a 2 year deal with the money from Everton his money would be similar to what he wants.
I'm not sure if this is still ongoing or even true but it would explain why things were taking a while.
I was also told we are definitely the club he wants to be at
