Maybe 3 in but before Sunday I’m not so sure about, unless you think they will just arrive and be ready to drop straight in the team.We need at least another 3 in before Sunday.

To be fair, Defoe had a clause in his contract allowing him to leave on a free if we got relegated. Not sure which idiot agreed to that, but he could have decided to stay with us and bring us back up....
I don't have an issue with him leaving at all, but let's be clear - he did have the option to stay if he wanted to (although the club would have probably forced him out like they did to Pickford)
Fair point.Initially I was a it pissed off and felt he'd left us in the lurch, but if we're being honest with ourselves he wasn't anywhere close to being the player we knew and loved. I think I'd have been more pissed off if he'd just taken the money and sat on the bench for 3 months, contributing v.little
So where does Gooch play, personally I dont think he is good enough to start a game in any position at this level, but I know I am in a minority, and he has some die hard supporters, what they see, completely escapes me.
aye he's done one to prestonThought Parrott was a "done deal" here, according to RR.
Roker Report?Thought Parrott was a "done deal" here, according to RR. Just goes to show no kernt knows jot all the majority of the time.
Thanks mate. I may be slightly biased but I think we would be the perfect place for Delap this season. He is very quick mate, and strong. He is obviously a cracking finisher as well. He can play the link up stuff, but we might not see him dropping deep like Stewart. Very much a number 9, from the bits I have seen.
I'm with you on this, Clocky. I thought it was best for both parties that he moved on in the summer. His delivery into the box is usually poor. He can be like a headless chicken when he's running with the ball and he always looks like he has mistake in him.So where does Gooch play, personally I dont think he is good enough to start a game in any position at this level, but I know I am in a minority, and he has some die hard supporters, what they see, completely escapes me.
Not worth reading what they sayRoker Report?
Saw themselves as the unofficial moutpiece of the club when Madrox were here (Methven used to feed them a lot of info) but they know next to nowt now and are about as reliable as Tribal FootballNot worth reading what they say
Disgrace to the name Roker
There using that name and good sunderland supporters are taking there info as factSaw themselves as the unofficial moutpiece of the club when Madrox were here (Methven used to feed them a lot of info) but they know next to nowt now and are about as reliable as Tribal Football
That's the problem we have, trying to sign a striker that know they will play second fiddle to Stewart, not many premier league clubs will want to send someone out on loan to be a part playerPARROTT - Frustrating but likely he'll get more game time with Preston. Stewart will always start games in this system. Both Parrott and Spurs will want him playing every week. Ellis Simms would be a target for me. Broadhead carrying an injury still.
Hasn't it been mentioned that AN wants to go for 3 at the back that lends itself to 2 up topThat's the problem we have, trying to sign a striker that know they will play second fiddle to Stewart, not many premier league clubs will want to send someone out on loan to be a part player
He may use 3 at the back for certain games but we'll be 4231 predominantly.Hasn't it been mentioned that AN wants to go for 3 at the back that lends itself to 2 up top
