Rangers offered £5.5 million 2 weeks after the play off, it was rejected by the club, there has been no more contact from any club re LND.

LND will sign a new deal here.
Yeh in my opinion he’s been a good servent but there’s no room for sentimentality we need to kick on

I think we have to bear in mind that (luckily) LND is still a bit of an unknown quantity right now. A lot of fans just assume he’s some lanky target man who scored loads for us like Wyke did. And to extend he’s had one good season in league one so it would be easy for other clubs to write him off as a one hit wonder (I think we know he isn’t)

Which is why we need to get him to sign a new deal. If anything, it’ll add to his value.
Agreed. The exposure we are going to get on Sky will boost the awareness of him. If he bags a couple of goals against Coventry and hasn't signed a new deal the speculation will be crazy. Hope he signs one soon.
The club need to sort all the incoming and outgoings before deadline day, then they will sort the new deal for Stewart there's no rush to do it in the next few weeks , he has another 2 years here bit I'm sure it will be sort shortly after the transfer window closes, but the club have other things to sort first.
The club will have already have a good idea what Stewart wants and will also probably know if he intends on signing a new contract
I work with a lot of Rangers fans, and there were rumours a few weeks ago. BUT they were hoping to get him on the cheap, as Stewart is a Blue Nose.
Rangers may well have enquired, but they would’ve not been able to afford him, so they’ve clearly gone elsewhere.
A word of caution, Rangers fans are some of the most arrogant fans that you’re ever likely to come across, and assume everyone wants to play in their dilapidated stadium.
After all their slogan is “We Are The People WATP”, I mean WTAF?
Finally I doubt very much that Stewart would want to play in a Tin-Pot league, but only an improved contract will dispel the rumours.

Rangers moved on from Stewart ages ago, then signed Colak. And now they’ve brought in Tillman from Bayern on loan who plays off the striker but can play up top, as well as having Morelos and Roofe.

I know you get information, but whether this has base or not I agree, you can see he loves it here, he probably didn’t expect to take off like he has and he loves the adoration.
I think he be here a long time, I genuinely think he can come all the way back to the PL with us.
