Both Jude and Jobe signed pro terms with Birmingham to ensure they got a fair fee for them, out of loyalty and respect. Must have a very switched on and respectful family.
I think Jude is an outstanding talent and if Jobe is half as good he's going to be a top quality player himself. Any club that gets him is going to get a real asset.
Aye and it is good to see. As much as I would be happy if we had signed him it is good to see young lads show a bit if loyalty to the clubs that developed them as kids, if we weren't going to sign him this was the alternative I wanted to see.
To sign a pro contract with a club lowered down the pyramid when it's likely the top 4 were circling shows a confidence in one's own abilities and chances of making it to the top and at one if them teams in the end anyway.
I've got a good record of judging players potential over the last few years and this is one I got totally wrong. Said to my mate that he will never be a good CB, was so wrong last season - the boy was class at CB 2nd half of the season
