Nevertheless a good player, if he develops quickly City may want to hang onto him. He may well end up a Premiership player, but as a CB not yet. Paradoxically strikers or wingers can sometimes make a breakthrough earlier. If you miss a goal... not a problem but if you give a goal away!!!!

I bow to your greater knowledge of the lad mate and I certainly agree with you about defenders/goalkeepers cocking up and having a greater impact on them than midfielders/forwards.

It wouldn’t be good for the team or the lad especially in that bleeding Championship which we all know is as tough as hell. Oh well, just wishful thinking lol.

We’ve been going back and forth about Cirkin for ages to be fair. <laugh>

I don’t know what his problem with Cirkin is. He slags him off at every opportunity.

He’s not the finished article obviously but I always thought he is a cracking prospect and had a very decent season for us (considering it’s his first year of senior football).
