Think we'll see a lot of late activity again once top end Champo or some PL transfers or loans become available.
I agree, the top money (Haaland and Nunez) has seen PL cash go out of our league to foreign shores. A couple of big domestic transfers might get things moving. Nketieh singing a deal and Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal could be a good start to the domino effect.

I've seen a lot of negativity towards the possibility of Robbie Brady that I don't really understand. Bournemouth are interested in retaining him for their Premier League squad next season. The other noted interested is from Huddersfield and Middlesbrough who will be promotion favourites, but for some reason Sunderland fans don't think it's a good enough addition.

A squad is all about balance. Not everyone can be an up and coming young prospect. Brady has a wealth of experience in the Premier League, Championship and International level. He's flexible enough to play multiple positions, meaning he could replace the space left by Clarke and also cover Cirkin. He also takes a great free kick. Oh and he's a free agent.

It's a no brainer for me, he'd be a good addition and we can use potential loans or transfer fees to strengthen elsewhere.
If he had a better injury record I’d agree but he seems to constantly have niggles these days.

A central defender from Mk dons, who scored ten goals last season, has completed a medical with Swansea.

I think he’ll do really well for Swansea. Looks a very good young centre half and one I would have been very happy with if we signed.

I’m not sure Tucker is the ideal replacement for him at MK Dons. Always quite liked him so expected him to get a good move from Gillingham, just don’t see him as a ball playing centre half. That may just be due to the style of play at Gillingham.
