Was on loan at Pompey last season. Looks like he is Fraser Forster's replacement....

I've seen a lot of negativity towards the possibility of Robbie Brady that I don't really understand. Bournemouth are interested in retaining him for their Premier League squad next season. The other noted interested is from Huddersfield and Middlesbrough who will be promotion favourites, but for some reason Sunderland fans don't think it's a good enough addition.

A squad is all about balance. Not everyone can be an up and coming young prospect. Brady has a wealth of experience in the Premier League, Championship and International level. He's flexible enough to play multiple positions, meaning he could replace the space left by Clarke and also cover Cirkin. He also takes a great free kick. Oh and he's a free agent.

It's a no brainer for me, he'd be a good addition and we can use potential loans or transfer fees to strengthen elsewhere.

I agree he wouldnt be a bad signing at all, I would be signing him to be a backup to Cirkin only though. I agree he can play a few positions if needed but I think we can sign better wingers than him. I would 100% take him as a LB though as he would push Cirkin on, I have a feeling Cirkin will really take his game to the next level next season and having an experienced player to push him would be a good thing

I agree IF he is fit to play regularly. Hasn’t he got a poor injury record?

It's his injury record that is putting fans off the idea. I'm on the fence with this one because he can't stay fit.
