Imagine him and Alex Neil together <laugh><laugh> I can guess what Neil might say if Mario asked 'why always me' <laugh>

He's a loon is our Mario, but I loved watching him play at City, where he drove RM crackers never mind AN, it was that last goal that made me post it, not many would try that one, having said that the opposition were not up to much <laugh> , no wonder they were relegated.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with the two German lads, whether it's the case or not that we have to buy them now we're promoted as was reported.

I wouldn't be unhappy if we ended up with them both they've got the makings of good players imo.
My feelings too. I thought Hoffman looked great for first half of season. Him and Patto fighting it out would be ok by me. Dujaku has a lot of raw talent, but maybe a bit too similar to Diamond? Would maybe like to see Diamond get a chance ahead og him.

Very talented lad, just too daft. Shame in some ways, but I am not so sure he regrets much.

Hopefully we start getting some news today. Here are my predictions.

  • I expect we will trigger Roberts' extension although I must confess I don't actually think he's that good. Don't want to put a downer on things but his end product is usually pretty poor and he got away with it in League One but unsure in Championship
  • I wouldn't try to sign Broadhead permanently. Again I know that might be unpopular but his injury record is unfortunately too poor.
  • Doyle I'd expect to go back to Man City and probably get another League One loan. But I wouldn't begrudge him another spell with us
  • Hoffman and Dajaku to go back to their clubs
  • Gooch to get a new deal - good versatile option
  • Wright to get a new deal (pretty much the only no brainer)
  • I expect Burge will get a 1 year extension as well as back up keeper. Seems very popular in the squad.
  • McGeady, Willis, Xhermajli, Grigg to be released
I suspect Bailey Wright will be offered a new deal. Reportedly Wigan wanted him in the summer. I suspect Baath came in on very good money, so I will watch with interest how they Bailey Wright situation unfolds.

From a footballing perspective I dont see Baath and Wright being a championship pairing. We will need more pace in there for me. I can see one of them playing, with one as backup and a couple of quicker lads come in to give us 4 centre backs.

I hope we keep Arby
i would not be against it, he was MoM at Wigan imo., and has hardly played since, but truthfully has looked way off the pace in the few other times he has played. If the finances were right we could send him and Willis out on loan next season but its a long shot and probably isnt a viable soloution.

shame about arby willis and geads if true, for no other reason than the club has stood by them and helped them all the way, possibly cost more in medical expenses than wages (just hope the insurance was up to date)...have to say we know geads quality but willis and arby both showed enough to at least warrant a loan to prove fitness but if AN dont fancy them then that will be that.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him leave permanently or head to L1 on loan.
