    Exactly, can’t keep making the same mistakes (signing from lower leagues) and expecting different outcomes. We need to improve with known quantities not speculative punts on lower league potential stars. Unless we bring them in as nothing more than backup players and don’t rely on them at this level.

    no regular first teamers released is good news, the 3 in talks i think/hope will sign, shame about some of the young lads really thought one or two were close to making the 1st team.

    There’s a fair amount of wages freed up on that retained list. Even the U23s will add up.

    Spot on, the Welsh manager (Chris Coleman?) all he needed was funds for a keeper and striker, none was forthcoming from Ellis Short. Who then inexplicably wrote off £100M + when Dumb and Dumber took over.
