One thing I picked up on, especially in the first leg was when their keeper got the ball o'nien would spirt 20-30 yards and put himself between 2 defenders, it may have looked to some that he was marking no-one, however what he was doing was narrowing the space to 2 players so If the keeper went short, whoever he played it to would be under pressure, which then resulted in the keeper going long.
This stopped the playing the ball out from the back which they like to do, I presume AN would have been behind some of this but like you said that's the bit people don't understand, AN will have instructed o'nien exactly what to do and he executed it perfectly and I believe will have had a massive impact on us winning the play offs.
People in the stands might not notice it as much but AN could not have been happier with the performances that o'nien put in
Think this just tells you where Nixon gets his info from, agent highlighting competition to drive up a deal. Payback I’d expect is Nixon being one of first to know when a deal is agreed. Not a bad business model for Nixon to make himself a few quid.

Dan Ballard - yes please.
Ravel Morrison - yes please.

Morrison was a level-headed professional for Derby and brought through their youngsters last season. He can also play deeper in midfield so will be a very shrewd signing on a free. Alex Neil strikes me as the type who doesn’t put up with any **** regarding attitude so if it doesn’t work out, he’ll sell him.
Clarke has been class for us towards the end of the season. A few mags at my work watched the play off semi 2nd leg and said that Clarke looked absolute quality and they actually want the mags to sign him. Be funny if we get that one over the line on a permanent just so I can wind them up a bit!
Ballard was impressive last season in the championship I believe. Resounding yes to that one especially if Wright is considering his options because we only have Batth as a senior centre back!
