Depends on your camp.

For me he does. Deal should have been sorted. It wasn't. Could be say no to stoke and get deal sorted in retrospect? Aye. But he isn't that type of manager or person is he ?
I feel we didn’t want him at first then he sort of grew on us then he wasn’t happy with recruitment or him been given more control
So why give him a better contract if he wasn’t happy
We should of got rid of him and moved the next level up manager

The more you read into it…. I know most before I say anything, but his family still living in Preston, depending on who you believe journo wise apparently he had a release clause in his contract, the club even said today they contractually obliged to let him speak to other clubs, the quick turn over from when O’Niel was sacked to Neil travelling down there, for me, taking all that into account something stinks here and not from the club

yes and no. he shouldn't still have a contract that allows him to jump that easy should he want to.

on the flip side, if he WANTS to jump that easily - do we want him here?

It's knocked my end in Marcus, I am dreading tomorrow, I'll be there but not looking forward to it. Hopefully someone in place before the Rotherham game.

I really don’t want to go if Proctor and Dodds are in the dugout, unfortunately my dad still wants to go.

Good point Wick lad. I have been pissed off since coming out if meetings and having a few conversations about the ins and outs.

But , you're correct. Club first. Always. Just wish there were better decisions getting made.

Over the past few years the management set up has been on colossal f**k up another and I used to feel the let down, but these days I'm immune to it, it's a circus. 2 things always remain, the supporters and the club. Neil got us promoted, we could say he done his job. But he's gone now, clearly wasn't feeling it or the genuine support he had from the fans. onto the next one, and the next.... and the next.

get behind the lads on the field none of this is their fault they all want to be here so let’s back them, full understand why you feel so flat though

I know you’re right, yeah it’s all just a bit flat after todays news. To be fair they probably don’t want to be in the dugout either.

Missed the last game as I was away too so was proper looking forward to it.

Nobody is bigger than the club and once I’ve stopped sulking I’ll be fine. This club man.

I agree and it worry’s me Neil was a good manager who had managed at a high level That’s what we need. But if we wouldn’t offer Neil an acceptable contract then we can rule out the likes of Dyche. Going for a lower league manager with potential is a huge risk. Would be a disaster to go back down
I would hate Dyche anywhere near the club

**nowt that is meant to say not most haha

Can't decide if I'm angry with the club or Neil or both. Certainly starting to realise he wasn't in it for the long term but that's disappointing in itself. Always hoped he GOT US as we thought we got him. A sad reminder that loyalty is fickle in football and only money buys enough of it
He new he wasn’t wanted and we gave him away out
Although he did what was asked of him we were not going to back him
And wanted better
I hope that’s what they will apply later on
Because they won’t actually say that
