I feel we didn’t want him at first then he sort of grew on us then he wasn’t happy with recruitment or him been given more control So why give him a better contract if he wasn’t happy We should of got rid of him and moved the next level up manager
yes and no. he shouldn't still have a contract that allows him to jump that easy should he want to. on the flip side, if he WANTS to jump that easily - do we want him here?
I really don’t want to go if Proctor and Dodds are in the dugout, unfortunately my dad still wants to go.
Over the past few years the management set up has been on colossal f**k up another and I used to feel the let down, but these days I'm immune to it, it's a circus. 2 things always remain, the supporters and the club. Neil got us promoted, we could say he done his job. But he's gone now, clearly wasn't feeling it or the genuine support he had from the fans. onto the next one, and the next.... and the next.
Yep totally agree, his contract let’s him out tok easy, but for me the fact he’s happy with a contract like screams he never wanted to be here long term
get behind the lads on the field none of this is their fault they all want to be here so let’s back them, full understand why you feel so flat though
That’s what in saying we left the door open for him because we have bigger fish to fry I really expect a new manager very soon
He’d be good with the young players, bags of experience, right attitude, loves Jackie Whites Market. It’s a yes from me
I know you’re right, yeah it’s all just a bit flat after todays news. To be fair they probably don’t want to be in the dugout either. Missed the last game as I was away too so was proper looking forward to it. Nobody is bigger than the club and once I’ve stopped sulking I’ll be fine. This club man.
Can't decide if I'm angry with the club or Neil or both. Certainly starting to realise he wasn't in it for the long term but that's disappointing in itself. Always hoped he GOT US as we thought we got him. A sad reminder that loyalty is fickle in football and only money buys enough of it
He new he wasn’t wanted and we gave him away out Although he did what was asked of him we were not going to back him And wanted better I hope that’s what they will apply later on Because they won’t actually say that
At the end of the day, as much as I agree that anyone would take a better contract offer especially if it’s a rolling 12 month contract that you’re on - I just don’t agree with this whole bollocks about not being backed. This is his first transfer window with the club and it’s not even finished yet.
I agree. But I also think he knew that when he took the job. Why would that change your mind? If stoke sign nobody between now and the window closing, then what’s the point?
