Wouldn’t offer him more than a year like maybe even 6 months to prove fitness/attitude to begin with
Smacks of Rodwell to me sadly. Cracking player but head in the wrong place.

As mentioned if he gets his head right, he’d be comfortably our best central midfielder

And just like that the debate about Neil is over. Don’t want to hear anyone else saying they’d rather have him in midfield than loaning someone better.
Step up on level always going to be a tough learning curve for the younger players. Mistakes were always going to happen. Question is can they learn from the improve ready for big promotion push next season?

But if he wasn’t doing anything exciting in league one how is he expected to jump up and perform every week in the championship? If he wasn’t a local lad he’d be getting absolute pelters.

He does **** all. He doesn't influence games. Apart from the super assist against Blackpool and the goal against Acc Stanley (I think) what's he done? What has he influenced?

for me he’s a number 10. Should be in a position where his entire game is about incisive passes
I agree with that but unfortunately he's got Pritchard ahead of him. I'd play Embleton before him, too.

Agree, can’t remember him having a stand out game in league one where I’ve thought f**king hell maybe people are right about him..

And I think he’s a no.10 but he’s nowhere near Pritchards level at the minute. Should be loaned to a decent league one team.

my “fear” is he’s not even recognised as a 10. He’s recognised as a 6. Which is just wrong

I wasn't being serious, who knows why it didn't happen. You don't have to build an entire game plan around it like Stoke did but you'd think it'd have been useful.

I was. it was like having a corner or free kick from most areas of the pitch.

Sorry, but we need a keeper… Patti glued to his line here

Mad how many corners their keeper has caught compared to Patterson. Never feel like he’s in control or the area. He has saved a few decent attempts though to be fair to him.

And Bailey Wright has convinced me that not only does he just hoof the ball forward aimlessly too often, he’s got a heed like a fifty pence piece.
