Yep, kind of glad he isnt here now.My thoughts, especially with AN's last comment suggesting that he didn't back himself over Stewart and/or Simms:
"On the broader point, we need players who are going to come here and back themselves and believe that they are going to contribute to what we are doing. It takes a certain type of mentality to do that at this club because of the scrutiny and the pressure that come with it"
Same after reading that, heart of a peaYep, kind of glad he isnt here now.
Definitely saying he didn’t have the right mentality for usInteresting comments from the boss...

Sounds to me he seen how well SAS done at the weekend and got cold feet, we move on
Yep I agree mate, look forward to see who we do bring in nowAbsolutely mad , the club have worked on the deal for so long, permanent. Only for the player to drop his arse, due to some healthy competition and head to a club on his doorstep on loan instead.
Weak as piss that.

So if we had been comfortably beaten down Bristol he would of signed ?? I'll take the 3 points thanks , he's certainly replaceable as we have already seen

Totally agree. Can't understand footballers at times and just shows the mentality some have these days - taking the ready option rather than backing yourself and working at least as hard as the players who you are in competition for a place with.
You heard if the james mccarthy links are true?Spot on. I now he had some confidence issues in the past and that is usually the case with players who are in and out of rehab due to injury. But I have to say, this has surprised me, especially as he wanted to come from the offset.
Shame, we move on with a team who are ready to fight and meet AN expectations. Anyone else is fodder.
I think we may have dodged a bullet thereAbsolutely mad , the club have worked on the deal for so long, permanent. Only for the player to drop his arse, due to some healthy competition and head to a club on his doorstep on loan instead.

You think we will have another on in this week mate? Or looking like next you reckon? No idea if it's him or not.
Personally would hope it's not. We need someone who can move. Not another older, slow and poor mobility CM.
