sounds like he’s another “inside forward” type of winger rather than out and out winger. Seems clear LJ prefers wide attackers that play more narrowly with full backs overlapping

I think the difference here maybe that 'Bayern II' don't play u23 footy. It's different over there where their 'reserve' teams can get promoted/relegated but play in the men's league. There isn't an u23/u21 league over there as far as I can tell, they have a 'B' team. Happy to be shot down as I don't watch much German footy tbh.
I just think to be able to cast our recruitment net as far as the German champs is a sign of how far we have developed behind the scenes. The quality may be no different to say Cirkin from Spurs, but the fact we even have the insight to identify a player like this just makes me think we arr much more progressive.
