Well yes. But if it’s at Sunderland’s behest, then we do have to withdraw the offer meaning no recompense. My dad said why not just withdraw it as he could be causing problems. My guess us we’re treating him and helping return from a long term injury, which will also make us a very attractive club to those potential signings. Makes the club look good. Makes the management look good.

Personally think his advisors have utterly shat themselves as we’ve gone and signed a left back which means we can sit as long as it takes. I personally would have him sign given my opinion on him. But if he doesn’t then so be it.
