Denver Hume is injured and is also out of contract , we will be entitled to compensation for his development. The question I would like to ask is would we have to resign him before the transfer window closes to be able to play him or if we don’t what would happen . Would he be able to sign for another club as a free agent even though we would be entitled to development compensation or would that become null and void . Anyone out there who knows ?

Everyone's aware but if they aren't signing (fir whatever reason we aren't aware) we're left weaker. People have agreed full backs are increasingly important in the mode game. We're left doubling up covering for players out of position. It's not a good positon everyone can see that. We can bid all we want we need to sign players.
Yeah like last year when we went out and signed McFadzean!! That was not such a good move we just need to be patient and not panic sign players like we have done for the past 5 seasons. If we get players that themanager wants fine if we have to wait for the right players then fine if we don't sign anybody rather than the wrong somebody then fine I will support the team and the new owners who appear to be doing things their way and I hope it works because the old way obviously didn't

Everyone brings up Mcfadzean as if one of our worst signings proves their point. No one's suggesting getting rubbish like that in but we could easily have gotten a decent player in by now. It's not always a case of waiting for quality. Mcfadzean was signed after the window shut iirc so didn't get quality late there did we.

You can sign a free agent and register and play them pending a tribunal price.

He could sign for someone.

Ipswich signing Kyle Edwards is ridiculous. Thought he was going to Celtic.

they have so many attacking players - it’s kinda mental

Why waste money and time on an average player if he’s not better than what we have? We played well enough on Saturday against a side some consider promotion rivals, we can afford to wait for a player that’ll improve the starting 11.

McFadzean was signed by a different manager under a different regime.

Mcfadzean is being used as an example by a lot of posters not by me I merely replied to a poster. Quality players have moved already this summer. It's just we haven't got them ( Evans and Doyle aside )

That will always be the case at every level of football though.

Good players will move to other clubs but it doesn’t mean we won’t also sign good players.
