Goode has performed well in preseason and played himself into contention at Brentford by all accounts.

I agree that someone with Goode’s attributes is what we need though.

Nothing against Wright hes an experienced fairly solid CB
I know he wasn't 100% fit but his lack of mobility cost us at the end of last season.

Sanderson and Oniens pace and energy snuffed out a lot last year. We really missed Sanderson when he got injured.

If we are going to play a high pressing game we need that kind of pace and energy at the back

McLaughlin had better games at centre back last season than Wright, never mind O9. Maybe he was injured but I think his back or his hips have gone. Looks like he’s trying not to let his **** leak out when he runs.
