Wow, I never would have thought that many on the day. I would have only thought a couple of hundred max. Makes it all the more important they fix that crap E-Ticketing site if it's a couple of thousand, it's ridiculously hard to even select a ticket when using a mobile phone. 2k paying an average of 20 quid would cover half a dozen of the squads wages for a week and that's just on the walk up on the day sales.
Plenty of tickets available in the North and East stands. Would take some serious sales to sell out the 37,500. Like I said - cracking crowd already.
most of the time I get to games is on Friday night I convince my wife to let me go. Get in the car Saturday morning 8am - get there around 2pm. Home by midnight
Keep coming on here to see if anything happening on the transfer front but all that's being talked about is the attendance tomorrow, can you not talk about it in the game thread instead and keep this one for who we're buying
i honestly hope there are no more 'leaks', all i want to see are the scarf pics and i will be happy. all this 'imminent' then sitting waiting for word to say the deal is done is damn torture...even worse when the deal has fallen through.
Be funny if he is on the teamsheet tomorrow and we have just not announced he has signed. Home fans bouncing and Wigan manager looking dazed and confused.
People are desperate for a bit of normality, combine that with the first opportunity a lot of our support have had to attend and tbh I’d have been surprised if we hadn’t got a good attendance. The fact Wigan are bringing a couple of thousand sort of demonstrates how much people have been missing football.
