So feck all to do with the current regime eh?

If you bought a buisness would you start from scratch or get a handover from the previous owners??
He only signed for Coventry a few months ago once our new regime had taken over. Considering the lack of transfer activity since im sure a young highly recommended Irish lad who impressed on loan would be worth a small fee do you not think?

1)And?? If Dreyfus was a good buisness man he'd know the ins and outs of whats been going on, seen the Scouting reports and took the spare change out of his pocket to sign a player only 19 that will more than probably have a decent sell on value, considering we were keen in the first place and hes now a league above us.

I cant even be arsed answering the rest of your questions tbf.

You are a tedious ****er mind, you are right and everyone else is wrong, we have no money? I think I will wait until the window is closed and consider it then

Sheff Wed just made their 9th signing, genuine question I’m not trying to be an arse but is there a deeper reason for us only making 3 signings other than the marker being ‘slow’? League one teams especially seem to be having quite a bit of joy.
Their squad is a lot better than ours. Madness that we’re joint favourites with Ipswich to win the league <doh>

They've definitely got more money to spend than us from a wage cap perspective as their wage cap is much higher and have just released loads of players on £30k p/w plus.

Clearly we could / should have bought more. And I think we are all disappointed.

I do think it is partly that some of the players we are after are being held up at premier league / championship clubs waiting for things to start (which Grealish should kick off)

But I do also think that we aren't willing to pay the fees / wages that agents and players expect from us, and thats causing an issue

There's also of course a chance that not all ducks are in a row back at the ranch. Which is kinda to be expected with everything just being set up - should hopefully improve for future windows?

So maybe a combination of those 3?

Yeah no bother lets start the season off with no fullbacks then eh

Crackers maybe we decided Stewart was worth more instead of this lad?

Let's stick to the known facts.

  • We have brought in four quality players without spending a penny on transfer fees. That is good business.
  • The club has admitted that bids are on the table for several players, which confirms that there is a transfer fund in place.
  • The transfer window is open until 31 August, giving us plenty of time to add to the squad.
Some of the bids that have been placed are likely to have been accepted, but the selling clubs will not sanction the transfers until they find replacements, which is understandable.

All will come good. We just have to be patient, like the club. ;-)

Crack on then mate if that makes you happy. Lets give everyone a months head start while we consider the market an extra month then?

I agree with that except the sentence after the bullets. I don't think we can say its likely that we've already got accepted bids out there. We can say possible but not likely.

Its not anyone though is it ffs. Weve had 3 months now to have a list of targets and sign players FML

Main targets . Do you really think we have that much of a plan like?
If we did we'd have at least one fullback at the club 2 days before a potential 6 pointer against a fellow top 8 team

Gregory should be a good signing for Sheff Wed but if we had signed him there would be absolute hell on.

Worse goal scoring record than Vokes

I know theres more to his all round game like.

Its just amazing how players linked with us = ****. players go elsehwhere = omg why not us?

Gabriel the rb from forest we've bid for, matched there asking price apparently but won't let him go until the have a replacement, be a good signing, so do we wait and risk it or do we go for someone else and risk them being worse ??

My god are we already into 6 pointers territory

We must play every game to win ffs?

You are obviously very easily pleased, ive said it a million times and lll say it again, getting out of this league and back on the footballing map is a must. Our owners must realise how much money is wasted down here and sacrifice abit of cash to get more back? Its a nobrainer a club of our size has huge potential but the longer we are in League 1 the more Soul gets drained from the club!

Everyone going on about Wednesday but its not like they've spent a load of money either. Most of those signings are free transfers or loans (which obviously may involve a loan fee, admittedly). One or two of those signings are decent but I don't feel like we've missed out.
