Interesting the lads on not the top 20 podcast, who generally slate us, have us tipped for 3rd this year as they think it’s obvious from the work we have done so far this window that we are going to bring in good players and have shifted a load of dead wood.

they have more faith in our strategy than a lot of our fans.

hope they’re wrong like - hope it’s top

FYI D3D4 podcast have us in 10th for the exact same reason that we don’t have the players.

George Elek made a good point in that we have massively underachieved and been mostly poor in this division since we have been in it, and still nearly gone up twice. And he doesn’t think with the new leadership doing things properly we will keep underachieving.

Doyle is an absolute brut, I couldn't believe how big he is, I have absolutely zero concerns about him not be able to manage the physical side of league one, oh and he can play as well as having bags of confidence. A fantastic signing for us.

He'll not play against many striker as big as the hull 1 today, and he done very well holding him off when he needed to, I know it's early to judge a player few games in but has the makings of being an England international in a couple of years

The club have been the fall guys, in the transfer market, for too long ...

... time for the knee jerking overpriced panic buying to stop.

This is a great club with a good future for ambitious players.

I don’t know anything about him but everyone seems to be getting excited about the prospect of him joining us. The club must be really keen if this is why they didn’t pursue the Liverpool LB.

He’s quick, switched on positionally and tactically, aggressive, got a great touch and has plenty of self belief.

yeh. This is the kinda stuff I’ve been reading about him. It’s why I’m trying not to get carried away. He’s the kind of player that gets talked about as being the next big thing. I have read plenty of sheff Utd fans who want him starting now.
