Just seen on RTG - Evans played and started for Blackburn loads in the second half of last season. He was mostly injured before Christmas.

So it's not like we are signing somebody who hasn't played in ages and hope he can get back fit.

His main position is a Left sided Centre back mate. Id hate to think we're not playing him in his strongest position. Im sure City would rather see him develop as a CB aswell otherwise loaning him to us would be pointless

One year ago - Richie Smallwood leaves Blackburn. Blackburn fans happy for him to and preferred to be keeping Evans. Smallwood joins Hull, becomes their captain and gets them promoted.

Today - Evans has now left Blackburn. Blackburn fans now think he's rubbish. Sunderland fans don't want him despite watching a similar player do exactly the same and do well at our rivals.

No guarantee he'll be good obviously

mate for the seasons we have been down here, all the teams that have been promoted above us didn't have a household name in them, but still managed promotion

Obviously it’s a case of if we get Lichaj and Evans in, but if we do then the squad is quietly starting to take a bit shape

obviously I’m under no illusion we would need a couple more like, but I can also seeing the likes of Neil and Daimond being right in the mix compared to last season too

Ollie Younger has looked the part in the glimpses we've seen of him so far. I really hope he's under consideration to be pushing hard for a first team place.

We're either thinking of a 3. Something I think our support debt like to watch in the main or playing him lb. Can't think he'd go well with say flannagan as we'd likely get steamrolled

I hope he's a right nasty ****er who takes no ****, it's about time we gave a bit back in this Poxy league, a mix of olduns who know the crack, and younguns who'll run all day is ideal for me, we got pushed about a bit too much last season.
