It all feels a bit odd to me. Although he got all those goals for us last season,I don't think I'm alone in not being unhappy that he's gone....which seems a strange thing to say. I just never thought there was much of a player there somehow.
I remember his silly fouls, his immobility, lack of ball control and his frequent offsides as much as his goals. If the stories are true, Wigan are paying over the odds for him in wages, although him not costing a fee will have helped with that.
I don't wish him any ill will at all,but I won't be surprised if he falls on his arse.

Meh. Not arsed and clearly the club weren't either if Wigan are prepared to pay him more money that usIt's announced 3 year deal
Can't feel anything other than complete indifference about Wyke leaving. One of them where the chemistry was never there, he had the passion of a dead fish and there were numerous frustrations with his game.
Thanks for the goals and good luck...I guess. Maybe try celebrating when you score you might enjoy it.
Agreed. I'd be furious if we kept him and paid £10k per weekIt all feels a bit odd to me. that's ambitious but I love itReet then; Hume signing and contract and 2 more in today is my prediction.
This, he clenched his fist once after a goal... Wow, I've seen girls in the Harbour look harder...Can't feel anything other than complete indifference about Wyke leaving. I can't fault Wyke for the move. Really good money he's earning there.
Wigan fans seem to think we're absolutely gutted that he's left. Strange.
Much like thisbye bye Charlie. Cheers for a good 6 months. Absolutely garbage for 2+ years.
They seem to think Wyke guarantees them promotion, well we never got promoted while he was here. Unless they play a very specific way, wouldn't surprise me if he gets between 10 and 15 goals.tbh the way our fans are going on on twitter would look and feel massively overboard to any non-Sunderland fan. So they probably see it as sour grapes. It happens with signings all the time.
