I'd like to think that a year as first choice there will be better for his development than the odd game for us and that he'll come back next season ready to stake his claim for a starting place.

Seeing the impact the loans had on Embo, and with Neil looking like a first choice, a loan is ideal for the lad.

I think you are right. I had hoped this season he would be in the side but coaches must think he is short of others. Certainly with Pritchard being able to play out there, and Gooch we are ok. The new lad from Germany sounds like he can slot in too. I am just a sucker for home grown lads getting in, you look at how Neil and Embo are playing, bit of extra motivation for them.
