So true, total helmet of a human being.
He will be decent in this league. I predict he will set up/score a few goals this season and also get himself sent off several times as he can't control his emotions and league 1 tackling isn't that great . Plus he will be targeted by managers as a potential red card candidate.
is the right answer, he'll get kicked and wound up every game. He'll be a walking red card.

Has he been good for Stoke recently? Why do they want rid?

i liked mclean when he first burst onto the scene with us, i think he slowly went downhill from there...last few times i have seen him 'in action' he looks like he cba, kind of slums it around the pitch and only runs when it is clear ahead of him, hope he does not prove me wrong here but it looks like he knows he will not get as much money anywhere else and is just drifting from club to club.

I agree, mate, I thought he was good when he first broke into the team. He brought a spark and gave us a lift, but I don't think he has the brains or the temperament to develop his game on. He at best stagnated after other teams got wise to him and he's never moved on, just lived on his early career reputation. And I personally think he's so thick and thin skinned he's spent the last few years of his career picking fights and being snide about other teams instead of trying to fulfil his career.

Nor will you, which means you can never really say which is the best.

In reality all you can do in give your opinion based on the information you have.

The information @Teessidemackem has is that we'll have three young players from top PL clubs in our defence.

So what he's saying is perhaps biased but may well be entirely correct.

Agree completely :emoticon-0150-hands my original comment was just an observation, it's just humorous how fans from all clubs (not just ours) tend to big their own players up with no (or very little) actual information. I'm from Norfolk and in an FPL group with a load of Ipswich fans. Before the first game they were all absolutely certain they would walk the league as their squad was "miles better than anyone else's". I just find it funny how different people's opinions are depending on who they support, ha

I would say we need a new Keeper, a right back and a centre mid. Maybe another left back to cover Cirkin.
I don’t think we need a midfielder cos we’ll have Winniesta to drop in there but I do think we need a right back, full back cover and a decent keeper
