If this was the first time we'd dragged our heels trying to escape this chod of a league I'd agree. At the fourth attempt it's just naive.
Yeah, I know, but this time feels different to me. Like there is a measured approach to it, rather than scatter gun or waiting for a bargain last minute. We are only one third in to the window.
He's good enough to play in this league. However I don't believe he's good enough to build a promotion winning team on unfortunately. I'd like to see us bring in a new number 1 if I'm honest
Maybe they are finding it a little bit more difficult than they thought getting the exact player they need with their new system in division 3, because all the players are pretty s hite.
A big centre forward who can hold the ball up is high on my list. I'm in two minds about the keeper. Burge does a lot well. If we got a commanding keeper, though, and an imposing centre half, we'd be a long way towards a top-two side.
Same ownership as before I'd then I'd agree. But personally I'm willing to give new ownership and recruitment team a fair crack of the whip.
Burge has the odd good game and can make good saves but rarely makes me feel assured and confident and he’ll be doing the same with the players. Personally I think quality in centre mid and the fullbacks is a priority for us right now.
I’d be on for about an hour naming them all. Hull City at home and Blackpool away are the first couple that come to mind though. He’s just not good enough.
