I want Hume to re-sign... BUT if the club announce his new contract before rumours of a new left back surface in the next few days, there will be carnage

 

strange one this mind, not like it was 'an enquiry' as his name has been going around for a while...club need to announce something now (and not just that hume has decided to stay) or the fans are really going to kick off i fear.

EDIT: ok, this was pretty much 'signed, sealed and delivered' by the sounds of things, with the current feeling among some fans i really hope the club have sorted someone else and are due to announce it or the mail have got their info completely wrong...either way we need to hear from the club.

This of course could be seen as indecision, but I do think more likely its because we've chosen a different option. Which suggests that option must be close.

All we have heard from the club is that he was a number of options. And its clear we are bidding on numerous players in positions to keep options open.

 

Seen somebody point out on RTG that we pulled out last night, not this morning. Which might suggest if another player is incoming, they may even be there now.

 

If the club have pulled out then they obviously, for whatever reason, think the move wasn’t right.

In Lee Johnson’s words, he was on a list of 10-12 players, so it’s not like we won’t sign a left back.

It's weird, you read up on a potential signing, even at this level, and you get excited and then let down when it falls through. At this stage I am still confident and have faith in the club.
