That blows a hole in my provisional theory! If a winger's going to make it, he surely would have by late twenties. So may be just a move to a level of football that suits him

Can’t believe the state we have got ourselves in the last few seasons, very depressing & seems no one wants sign except youngsters.I think Schteeve was indicating loan deals after the Preston match, would make sense in the current straight-jacket we're in...

Sod this I am off to the beach for a couple of hours. I will remember the comments made by TF about signings.Loan signings for efl clubs until 31st August, if we're not buying anyone this might be why there's nothing happening

I was and I'm still optimistic with Steve in charge. It was the first game of the season yet looked a hell of a lot like last season. We are, thanks to TF, in a very tricky position. Players who may be available will surely have other clubs after them and at the moment we don't look like a very attractive club to join. Another possibility is the loan market. The problem here lays in wages. Premiership reserve players are probably on double if not treble our structure and most parent clubs insist a fair amount, if not all wages are covered for the period of the loan agreement. I'm not expecting miracles, I understand the complete balls up our club has got into, I just really want to see or hear some ambition.
You couldn't make it up....only at QPR.“We are thanks to TF in a tricky situation “.............I was and I'm still optimistic with Steve in charge. The mind boggles, yes he made mistakes, he trusted a pair of wide boy shysters in Sparkless and Deadcrap and he was gullible, but some folk have short memories, Just remember if it wasn’t for TF we would still be lumbered with poison dwarf Ecclestone and his tangerine sidekick Briatore and could quite possibly be in bigger doo doo than we are now, do you think that pair of scumbags would have hung around to repair their damage, I don’t think so at least TF has put his hands up admitted his mistakes and is trying to rectify them, give the man a break, get off his back and get BEHIND the club rather than keep getting ON AT THE CLUB.
But he doesn't he keeps bloody making the same mistake you mentioned it yourself with 'Sparkless and Deadcrap'.TF has put his hands up admitted his mistakes and is trying to rectify them
TF has to be entitled to lose his own (or his consortium’s) money.
For what TF & Co have spent, of course we should be a PL side. That is down to many poor decisions which started with the dismissal of Warnock.
?It started when Warnock brought swp, Barton, gabbidon, Ferdinand (Anton) and broke up the championships winning side without them having a real chance to give it a go.......plus we were sliding into the relegation zone when Warnock was axed....
What followed after that compounded what Warnock started....
