I find myself agreeing with you too much Raving :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Bit bizarre that we identified players to release early and didn’t already have the discussions on the type, or specific, players we wanted to recruit - so any disagreements (between DoF and GA) would have come to light early not with 49 days left to season kick-off. I’m sure it won’t stop us making moves for players but it would have been much better to have a new DoF in place earlier with his input, support and drive to get things moving positively, forwards and quicker. Feels a typical messy head office method of working. Bloody frustrating.
This is the way

More than a little concerning that in a year of such an important and extensive rebuild we don't have any apparent agreement on targets. Here's hoping we have a DoF in place by the start of next week, and they're strong enough to not let Ainsworth have it all (or any?) his way.
I think we have to offload a few for money before we can think about getting anyone in if a fee is involved. For free agents/free transfers they are likely to hang around to see if they get more than one offer rather than jump at the first thing than comes along (unless they are truly ****/knackered and know it….). However, my reading is that Ainsworth does have targets and that Les didn’t think that raiding the retired donkeys home was the right thing to do.

Not the same player after he signed permanently and definitely doesn’t suit GA’s style of play. A high earner off the books so not a bad thing.

Nothing personal but I'll be glad to see the back of him. He was a waste of money after his loan spell and never showed the same energy once he got his deal. I presume he had to be given a pay-off so getting rid of his wages will not have been completely painless.

Already Johanssen has gone, And Mahoney seems to be getting a loan.
