According to my mate, who's a physio at Palace, they have priced Eze at £80 million, but have no intention of letting him go this season. The player is happy there and isn't remotely interested in leaving imminently.
Not surprised to hear that. He’ll go eventually though. Money and ambition usually wins out.
Good luck to him, be great to see him win medals and play in Champions League.
Hopefully our ‘add-ons’ from the sale will accumulate some money for us until then.

Also some talk of us taking one of Moley's Rangers kids on loan, hope that's BS, **** developing his players for him.

This would be really annoying. Happy for us to agree a verbal deal, on the promise that integrity is really important to us, keep them waiting then pull out the deal five minutes before the deadline, leaving him with a few players who know they aren't wanted but can't go anywhere.

Same guy now saying a move potentially back on. Leicester expecting departures today so could be a late bid. Really hope he stays, as frustrating as he can be we do not have another Illias Chair.

I thought we needed to sell someone for decent money this summer or in January to avoid falling foul of FFP again. So unless our business so far this window has put us probably in the clear on FFP which I doubt, and we get what we value him at, I'd be happy if he goes mostly. Trouble is if it does happen it's probably going to be too late to bring in a lesser cost replacement unless we've been clever enough to have one lined up

why would they ‘develop’ players in a league which is stronger than the one they would be playing in for their own first team?

Chronic sense of guilt at ruining our season last year. We are a charity case now. Instead of chucking a few pence in the tin, they are chucking some kids our way so that Gareth can instil some spine and effort into them- make men of them

Insane how quiet it is, not even any speculation on here.

Latest rumblings are Leeds potentially weighing up a late bid for Chair but we don't want to let him go this late in the window. Joe Gelhardt apparently being part of the deal.

Being a QPR fan on transfer deadline day is like being in detention at school and seeing all the other kids playing outside.
Only 3 ‘undisclosed’ fee transfers to championship clubs today - Preston, Sunderland, Blackburn, a £1m transfer to Boro and 7 loans.

The economics of this league are completely different to the PL. There is no money.

Have you not seen Southampton's , Leeds and Leicester's deals over the last few weeks ? Obviously nothing compared to Prem spending, but still huge for this league. All of them had sold plenty of players aswell though.
