Fascinating https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/65549007

To the summer of 2021, West Ham's total revenue was £192.1m, compared to AZ's £19m (21.08m euros). West Ham's wage bill was £128.45m, compared to AZ's £14.13m (16.2m euros). London Stadium has a 62,500 capacity compared to AZ's AFAS Stadium, which holds 19,500.
The bit that gelled with me was this:
"The first thing Robert did was to stop losing money," he said. "Unfortunately, the first year is painful because you are selling your best players to make up for the poor decisions made by people who were there before you.”

Just read that, would be great if he got involved with QPR

Bit harsh on Masterson unless he wants to go to play regularly.

Yeah that's a strange one, is Gubbins also a CB though? Kerman is an odd one, guess GA has seen something he can work with.

I'm not as down on Martin getting another year as everyone else is, Burnley showed what he can do as an impact sub.

It'll be fascinating/terrifying to see how our squad eventually shakes out.

Basically Chair, Willock and Dieng and we might have a tiny bit of change left over to buy a bloke who looked ok for Wycombe.

Get your season tickets soon to avoid disappointment.

I have a feeling we may make most selling Dykes, but replacing a striker probably won't be cheap either.

The key line here is, he's urged the board to give him the backing he needs to see the plans through ! Will they give him the full backing he wants ? I very much doubt it, which will leave us in the same boat as we've been on for ages, one without a rudder or an engine.

Anyone listen to the latest QPR podcast with the assistant manager, Dobson, on it? Worth a listen imo and quite encouraging in parts. A lot on wanting players who are mentally stronger (not said so bluntly) but also on some of the good youngsters they developed at Wycombe.

Well a lot our players have proven they’re not mentally strong. Their backbone this season has been so weak they can’t help but stare at their boots.

He talks a good talk....but he also said they'd be going for a win against Brizzle on Monday, so that's blown up in his face a bit

Whoever agreed the Richards deal needs shooting. Taken on loan with an obligation to buy. Surely there must've been a caveat, that he had to make a certain number of appearances. Seems utterly ludicrous to be obligated to take a player who is so frequently injured. Also when he wasn't injured, why the he'll wasn't he playing ? None of the 3 managers this season saw enough in him to be starting him whenever he was fit, something is clearly amiss with the lad. He looked OK a few times when he appeared as a sub, but to be giving a 3 year deal to a player with such a dodgy injury record and who doesn't look like he's gonna fit into Ainsworth's style looks like another piece of **** business. I'm pressuring Les was behind it, encouraged by wart face last Summer !
