Well he ain’t. Okay he’s not a solid CB like VVD, but he’s still good enough at defending. You don’t play as a CB for a decade at the top without being able to defend. As I mentioned, he’s also able to play the ball out of defence, which is something we badly lacked last season.

He’s a banter player for sure. But he’ll be better at the back for us that either Kos or Mustafi. So it’s an improvement for us until Saliba comes in

He's not solid at all. Very erratic in fact. But he is typical of a modern Brazilian defender in that he is fantastic going forward, but suspect positionally. I think a lot of it has to do with how he's used so it will be interesting to see how Unai integrates him into the side. Watched Chelsea beat Manchester City at Stamford Bridge last season and he was rock solid. I think next season will be very interesting.
 
Anyways it seems Everton are in for Iwobi so it seems Arsenal's business isn't done yet

No, Pix. That’s not how it happened.

I said that Dybala would rather come to us for less than go to United. You scoffed at that, and then the player almost immediately issued a “come and get me” plea to Levy.

Levy is trying his best, but it looks as though Juventus is determined to block the lad’s dream move to Spurs.

The point is that you scoffed far too soon, and it has returned to bite you on the backside.

Admit it.

no, it's image rights, which are also the reason for united dropping their chase iirc.

You might be looking at playing 3 at the back with Tierney & Maitland-Niles as WB's .

That’s one option for us. I think Emery’s prefers a flat back 4 with attacking wingbacks. But if we get Tierney then our left flank has some great options with Tierney/Kolasinac/Pepe/Aubameyang
