Has anyone noticed the players we're linked to and their current squad numbers.....

3 - Yoshida
10 - Ramirez
15 - Boilesen
24 - Fontas & Mayuka

That's 5 of the 7 players most recently linked that play in a squad number we've got available!! The only exceptions are Biyik who wears 5, and M. Phillips who wears 7.

Just wondering if that validates that we may be after any of the above (e.g. we've kept their numbers free to help entice them to come), whether that's part of why they've been linked (e.g. the press have looked at our free numbers and positions required and drawn some random conclusions), or whether the whole thing is just total chance.

Thoughts????

Well that's number 24 gone! Just 3, 10 - Ramirez, 15, and 17 left to fill.

We have offered 6 mil for Gonzalo Bueno some uruguyan winger that is 19

He better have dual nationality with Spain or something because we'll struggle for a work Permit otherwise! 1 cap at U20, 1 cap at U23 for Uruguay. Unless we're only buying a future option on him like the really big clubs (Man Utd) do.

Bueno has both Portuguese and Uruguayan citizenship according to what I read. He has scored 6 goals in 16 games this season(if I can remember rightly).

Getting up for work early is a bitch :(

This is interesting was linked with Bologna and same agent

Article date 19/5/12, translate from Italian.

Who is Gonzalo Bueno - 16/01/1993, Nacional Montevideo - Born and raised in Montevideo from football, Gonzalo is a very talented striker. In his country, all appointed him as the heir to Alvaro Recoba here but I have some doubts. I do not dispute the technical skills, because Gonzalo is very learned, do not discuss the class, he has quite a bit, and do not discuss the talent. I have to say about some very different between the two and I want to clarify because who has never seen him play, refers only hearsay and you could make a player other than the idea of reality. Bueno has a lot of technique, a touch of the ball very sweet and a great sensitivity that allows for control of the ball on the move really out of the ordinary. Bueno is a very fast player, low center of gravity (176cm x 73), often cut into the center taking advantage of the mistakes of the defenses very well because he lives on the offside line. It has a very fast dribbling and speed of execution in the Strait really interesting. One thing that makes it a great investment that has big growth potential. According to his attorney Betancurt, the player is already in the Bologna
