Definitely reckon we should be having another look at Biglia from Anderlect.

Quality player who sits deep and offers good protection to The defence but can also create, may allow Scneiderlin a bit more freedom too!

Biglia available at 6 million...bit of a bargain!!

Would we really need Biglia when Jack Cork comes back in a few weeks? Good as he is, I think we're ok at CM.

I'm totally in agreement with PTF on this one. There's no chance of signing Biglia at this stage.

We won't get and more importantly we don't need bigilia. I'm all for signing quality players, but there's no point signing them just for the sake of it.

If you sign a player that is too big a name and too high money wise then you shouldn't take him...

That's why I'm half and half regarding Ramirez signing...

I say this simply because they can be a disruptive influence by thinking they are better than the team...

This is why I'd rather sign players like Phillips or Ince, because they are more down to Earth young athletes that can fit in and learn from the older players <ok>

I just can't see a big name foreign player like Ramirez fitting in and adpating....

i can't believe people would honestly reject having a player like ramirez play for us

This is RLGB we are talking about.

In what way are Ince/Phillips that different to Ramirez RLGB?

They're both more than likely earning more cash than him. He's about the same age, and he wants to play football.

Just because he comes with a big price-tag and high billing doesn't mean he will be disruptive.

We paid £400k for Puncheon and he was disruptive. To say because he comes with a large fee and has expressed disappointment on how Bologna are breaking a promise does not make him disruptive.

Again, your anti-foreigner stance shines through

Exactly, Ramirez is young, and more highly-rated by people across Europe than Phillips or Ince. Phillips may well have an attitude if he handed in a transfer request?

Ramirez has expressed a desire to leave, and the Bologna president says that is due to a promise that was made last year.

I am surprised more people haven't notice this underlying anti-foreigner issue.

If not Ramirez,Phillips would still be a good signing even at 5-6 million, but to anyone who watched Man city v Liverpool didn't Joe Allen play well pity he was out of our price range.

Because of good management and not being held to ransom by an upset player (who saw sense in the end), Saints got Puncheon as a member of the team again. There's no reason that couldn't happen with Ramirez, Phillips or anyone else.

Wasn't Ince ment to be abit like his dad?, thinking he was it etc?.

Dont think we will lose a striker just because we want another. I mentioned on here yesterday that i though we needed another striker.
