Don't worry - it will come off. We've done the hardest part - convincing him to sign for us. He's agreed personal terms. It's all academic from now. Cortese will stump up the cash if he knows a player of his quality wants to sign for us.
Should be easy now he's handed in that transfer request, they won't want an unhappy player.
Dunno why people think we're "being used" if the player has agreed personal terms and we only need to agree with the club?
Because they're idiots? I could understand if it was a Sky Sports article stating "Saints lining up £14m bid for Gaston Ramirez", but it's everywhere, Ramirez has stated he will sign for us, Italian contacts have stated we've already agreed personal terms and it's just a case of meeting Bologna's President's demands.
