Cortese was said to be out in Italy all week with his representative and then over here in England with the representative, Mr Betancourt.

I'm sure it will all be fine.

The PFA offer all the functions of an agent to players in the UK, and will probably end up representing them in a dispute. I have a slightly worrying suspicion that as soon as a young player becomes professional he has to fight off agents from all angles promising to make him into the next whoever. But maybe that's a different topic.
 
why are there so many dodgey deals in Italy?, i remember when Boateng left pompey for Genoa and then left on a permanent loan t Ac Milan, without Milan having to pay anything for him
