Have been watching this thread and enjoying the rumours but tonight has finally prompted me to actually comment for the first time in ages...
This is a rumours thread, so when someone posts a rumour, why do people jump on them, criticise them and complain about them doing exactly what this thread is for?
Also, why do people feel the need to belittle someone else's opinion? I have opinions, they may not be the same as yours, they may not be based on statistical evidence and they may even be wrong, but they are my opinions and you are welcome to disagree with them, but don't abuse me for holding them or try to tell me your opinion is right and mine is wrong for no reason other than it is different to mine...
Apart from the Trolls and Skates, don't we all support the same team? So why abuse each other?
Keep the rumours coming, no matter how far fetched, prefer to read and get excited about something in here than worry about no news etc
PS have we signed Fiero yet? ;-)

How can we have agreed a deal with his entourage if we are yet to agree a fee with the club? Surely it's the other way around?
We don't mean to. We discount the rumour and apparently it's a personal insult.
I thought we'd signed someone by the amount of people on this thread at this time of night. Anyway to my point, RVP needs to be registered by 12:00 tomorrow afternoon to be able to play against Everton for Utd on Monday. I'm guessing that any new players Saints try to sign Ramirez, Phillips etc would need to be sorted by that time aswell. Exciting night but lets wait until tomorrow. It would be an excellent signing and I trust NC to only pay what we can afford.
Having seen the way the rumours are discounted (and those posting them) I can see why... Just because you don't believe the rumour, don't have a pop at the poster...
Read back through the last 50 or so pages and there is quite a lot of insulting going on for no reason sometime other than people not believing other people's rumours - they may be sh!t but no need to have a pop at the poster rather than the post

Hmm, it says that we have agreed, in principle, terms for Ramirez himself. So perhaps we know what wages and bonuses Gaston wants, and just need to match Bologna's asking price ? Not sure.
Bologna have allowed Ramirez's 'entourage' to negotiate a deal 'in principle'. Seems to happen a lot on the continent.
They do it in hope that a club thinks the deal is reasonable and then makes the official bid of a desired price(s).
Is this not what we were kind of accused of with Matt Phillips? Talking to the agent before the official bid?
I have been told it is more commonplace in Europe though.

But it being that way around sort of makes me even more happy. We wouldn't agree a deal with the player without knowing what the club wanted for him.
Great move for them, they might prove to be a bit of a Dag&Red with a Barnard.
Can think of better places for him, but he needs to be playing, so good luck if so.
