Perhaps you are right, but there are a couple of clicky groups on here that are rather dismissive and/or negative/rude regarding certain individuals no matter what is said by them - which is a little disappointing. It does put me off reading posts/contributing at times.

Anyhow - what this does all mean is that we have an exciting couple of weeks !

It's a rumour, it is interesting an it's got us all talking.

I doubt anything will happen but we know what NC is like, keeps things under wraps and could be a massive surprise we just aren't expecting...

I think there will be a nice surprise or two in the next couple of weeks, but I don't think it will be Gaston. Matt Phillips seems believable, and although I have my doubts about him, he's rated highly by many. I can't say I rate any of the centre-backs we've been linked with, so I hope we get a nice surprise there.

Good deal in terms of finance - 24mill for someone with 1 year left on his contract but it doesn't escape the fact that they are selling him to rivals. United now favorites for title imo. Best strike force in the country now.
 
aguero and tevez against rooney and van persie, pretty close but i'd say city edge it with their depth.
 
I can't see van Persie recapturing the form he had at Arsenal...

Must e a kick in the teeth for Welbeck considering he signed a £75k, 5 year deal yesterday

RVP, Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez, Berbatov. Kagawa, Valencia and Nani are likely to chip in with a few as well.

I get the feeling Berba might not be around much longer.
 
I think Fergie is feeling the pressure a bit as he seems to be spending a bit this summer.

I know he has over previous years but, well, I don't think they really need Van Persie.
