No but Cortese always buys a european player in the summer. Like Papa Waigo, Guly, De Ridder and there should be one this year.
Hopefully they're of a bit higher quality than those 3.

It would certainly shut up all the moaners.Think we can expect a 'big' signing in a few days
I can feel it
(Bold statement I know)

Rickie Lamberts Golden Boot's 'I think we can expect a 'big' signing in a few days' prediction number 29 of the summer.
Hopefully they're of a bit higher quality than those 3.
I'd be very happy if we signed a player of Guly's quality
IIRC someone said that in November (when we beat Coventry 4-2) we scored 10 goals and 9 of them were scored or set up by Guly, and the one that wasn't he was off the pitch.Guly's ability in a player with a bit more consistency, particularly away from home, and you've got a class player.
Still saddens me that Guly can't perform like he did away at Coventry last season (4-2) more often.
I miss Papa Waigo. He was terrible, but loads of people loved him for some reason. Kind of like Steve De Ridder, but with a funny dance.
It was the fact that he carried us to the JPT Final, I think.
Steve De Ridder couldn't even get in Pompey's first team squad of two he is that useless.
All of his goals were hilarious, in particular the one against Torquay where it bobbled in front of him and he toe poked it home. Comedy masterclass from the defenders.

Erm. Exaggeration is the lowest form of wit.
