My Celtic supporting mate speaks very highly of Kayal.

That said, Davis, Schneiderlin, Cork, JWP, Chappers and Deano? Think we're alright in that position :p
 
Kayal is quality. Suggests a change in formation. Or we're shipping Hammond out. Or both.
 
Kayal would be ace. If Nigel wants to utilise the diamond it makes sense.

If Morgan gets a 3-match ban, we have no one like him (IMO). Also, Cork or Davis pick up a knock and then Chaplow and Hammond are called upon.

I don't think Chaplow is up to it, (or Hammond) but give him a chance. However, if we can get Kayal for £5m - do it.
 
Really think schneiderlin will excel this season. Always seen him as a xavi alonso type of player and in the prem when he will have time. The ball I think he will be our stand out midfielder next season. I can see us perhaps playing Davis and cork with Morgan behind them this season n a 4-3-3. Not a bad trio if you ask me.

Are you implying that Morgan might be predisposed to a red card or two ;)
 
Bearing in mind the diving and cheating that goes on in the premiership we can expect a lot more bookings and suspensions especially at the start of the season until our players get used to the amateur dramatics - it took Norwich a good numner of weeks to stop giving away penalties at the start of the season
So we will need a good supply of midfields to rotate
