Tribunal's more than often favour the buying club. Highest fee paid in a tribunal was about £1.5million I think. Cortese knows what he's doing

Indeed, the tribunal always seems intent on setting a fee which compensates the selling club for the money they spent on training the player and so on, and not reflect what a normal transfer fee might have been. It's usually much lower than the selling club would normally demand.

I'd expect it to be lower, but 3m still isn't bad...especially if there isn't a large sell-on attached.
